Milton Hershey School Hosts Twitter Chat About Teaching Career Tech Ed in a Virtual World

In honor of National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, Milton Hershey School is hosting a Twitter chat on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many teachers had to quickly redesign their courses for remote instruction or a blended learning environment that’s physically distant. Since CTE classes rely so heavily on hands-on instruction, the pandemic presented a challenge for CTE teachers.

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 17 from 3 to 4 p.m. EST for “Teaching CTE in a Virtual World,” a Twitter chat discussion focused on the importance of career and technical education in the current climate. We will share ideas and strategies for navigating different instruction methods when connecting face-to-face isn’t an option.

We’ll be joined by Advance CTE (@CTEWorks), ExcelinEd (@ExcelinEd), Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (@HersheyJobs), and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (@thaddeusstevens).

Use #MHSChat to join the conversation.
