Milton Hershey School to Celebrate 84th Commencement Ceremony

The 84th Milton Hershey School® Commencement ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 10 at Giant Center beginning at 10 a.m. The ceremonial event will honor more than 200 students of the Class of 2018 who will receive diplomas.

“The Class of 2018 has achieved significant accomplishments during their time at MHS,” said MHS President Pete Gurt ’85. “I have had the honor of watching them grow as students, friends, leaders, and 21st century citizens as they made their mark on our community. I am confident they are graduating with a strong foundation in academic excellence and the skills needed to achieve lifelong success.”

More than 65 percent of Milton Hershey School’s Class of 2018 will stay in Pennsylvania to join the local workforce or pursue higher education.

The following commencement exercises and related graduation activities will be live streamed to the public:

Seniors Kaylah Bohenek and Felicity Torres will address the Class of 2018 during the commencement ceremony. President Pete Gurt ’85 and MHS Alumna of the Year Wendy MacClinchy ’92 also will provide remarks.
