MHS Student Athletes Participated in the PIAA Track and Field State Championships

Four Milton Hershey School high school students qualified to participate in the PIAA track and field state championships at Shippensburg University on May 24 and 25, 2019.

Tatyana Gibson, an MHS junior won third place in the 800-meter dash and broke MHS school records in the 800-meter and 1600-meter dashes. Jaidyn Parris won fifth place in the 110-meter hurdles and broke the MHS school record in his event.

Hassan Kamara, an MHS senior, and Avohn Cross, an MHS junior, both participated in the triple jump event.

Congratulations to these athletes and to the track and field teams for a great season!
