Milton Hershey School Launches Its Virtual Founders Hall Visitors Center

More than 50 years ago, Milton Hershey School dedicated an iconic building on campus, Founders Hall, to our founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey. Inside this stately monument lives the Founders Hall Visitors Center which recently underwent renovations to bring it up to current-day safety and accessibility standards. The new, modern visitors center tells the compelling story of the school’s past, present, and future.

Until we can safely re-open our visitors center to the public, MHS has built a mobile-friendly Virtual Founders Hall Visitors Center to transport this in-person experience to your devices. Navigate through our themed exhibits, historical photo albums, and alumni collection to learn about Milton Hershey School’s 111 years of history and counting—anytime, anywhere.

Users have direct and easy access to our exhibit videos where history comes alive with film and moving images. Learn about historical facts from the MHS School History department’s vault; hear from MHS students talk about life at MHS; and walk down memory lane with MILTs through Spartan memories.

As visitors seek to learn more about the sweetest place on earth, the Virtual Founders Hall Visitors Center can serve as a great resource for providing history about Milton S. Hershey, the town of Hershey, and our Hershey entity partners including Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, The Hershey Company, Hershey Trust Company, and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

We look forward to when we can once again welcome guests to our Founders Hall Visitors Center. Until then, we hope the community enjoys this online experience and learns something new about Milton and Catherine Hershey and their vision to help children break the cycle of poverty.
