Milton Hershey School Celebrates End of a Raise the Bar Year
Students and staff at Milton Hershey School celebrated a Raise the Bar year as the community closed out the 2024-25 school year. The Class of 2025 also participated in several senior-only activities to help them reflect on their time at MHS.
On Wednesday, June 11, seniors celebrated their final day of classes with encouragement from MHS students, staff, and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts staff on their final walk to school.
After finishing their final class periods, seniors enjoyed signing yearbooks and swimming at the Community Recreation Center, where yard signs featuring their senior photos were on display.
On Thursday, June 12, the Class of 2025 enjoyed their class trip to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey.
On the final day of the school year, the MHS campus was filled with pride and happiness. Elementary and Middle Divisions celebrated with Fourth and Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremonies, while seniors had an enchanting evening at a Louisiana bayou-themed prom in Founders Hall.
On Saturday, June 14, the Class of 2025, along with their parents/sponsors and Middle and Senior Division students, gathered for the Senior Awards Ceremony. Over 70 seniors received awards recognizing their academic achievements, extracurricular participation, and dedication to their community. During the ceremony, Hailey Peregrin was named Valedictorian, Thooria Olaoye was recognized as Salutatorian, and Takuma Sugita received the distinction of Most Nearly Ideal Senior.
Following the event, seniors and their parents/sponsors gathered for a dinner to celebrate the students’ accomplishments ahead of the 91st Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, June 15.
