Promotion Ceremonies
Along with celebrating the graduating class, this period also marked a transition for our younger students. On Friday, June 13, MHS held Promotion Ceremonies for our fourth and eighth grade students moving on to their next scholastic division at MHS.

On Saturday, June 14, MHS recognized members of the Class of 2025 for their achievements inside and outside the classroom. The entire MHS community celebrates these students and their accomplishments.

Lifers: 12 Years of Raising the Bar
MHS celebrates a special group of graduates each year called “lifers.” These students began at MHS in first grade, or earlier, and remain enrolled through graduation. There are 18 lifers in the Class of 2025.
Meet the Lifers2025 MHS Alumni of the Year
Milton Hershey School has named James E. Hanawalt ’65 and John B. Hanawalt ’70 the 2025 Alumni of the Year for their exceptional, decades-long commitment to community leadership. James, who passed away on June 26, 2024, is being honored posthumously with this distinction.
