Milton Hershey School Visual and Performing Arts Program Students Recognized as Hershey Theatre Apollo Award Nominees

Milton Hershey School gives every student the opportunity to explore their passions and talents through a variety of programs including the Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) program. Each year VPA students share their artistic and musical abilities with the MHS community and beyond through plays, musicals, and several other performances.

Sponsored by the Hershey Theatre and a number of other local organizations, the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards were created to recognize outstanding achievement by high school students in their musical and play productions. This year, two MHS students were nominated as a part of the 14th annual Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards for their roles as jurors in the play, “12 Angry Jurors.”

  • Mohan Lall, MHS junior, was nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play. “After the difficult year that was 2021, being nominated for a Hershey’s Theatre Apollo Award reminded me what keeps me going—the stage,” shared Mohan.
  • Devin Hardy, MHS senior, was nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play. “Being recognized for this award means a lot to me,” shared Devin. “It’s something that I’ve been pursuing since freshmen year and to be nominated in my senior year is a dream come true.”

All 2022 Apollo Award winners will be announced at the Hershey Theatre on May 22 at 7 p.m.
