Milton Hershey School to Present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” on March 7-9

MHS will present Beauty and the Beast on March 7-9, 2019Milton Hershey School high school students will present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” an international sensation and Broadway modern classic, in the Memorial Hall Auditorium (901 Homestead Lane, Hershey) this March. The community is invited to attend one of four performances that are free and open to the public.

The performances will occur on:

  • Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” tells the story of youthful, intelligent Belle and the misunderstood Beast, a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn the important lesson of how to love and be loved, the spell will end and he will be transformed into his former self.

The production incorporates themes like community, respect, and acceptance—values embraced by Milton Hershey School and included in the school’s social and emotional learning curriculum.

Tickets are free and available through an   online ticketing system beginning Feb. 1, 2019. Visit, and search “Beauty and the Beast” at Milton Hershey School.

(While the school does not provide wheelchairs or other mobility devices, readers who need accommodations for a disability are asked to notify the MHS Campus Service Center 72 hours in advance at 717-520-2647).
