Milton Hershey School Seniors Honored as March 2022 Rotary Students of the Month

Milton Hershey School seniors Victoria Ortiz Guerrero and David Godwin were selected as the March 2022 Rotary Students of the Month. They each received a certificate from the Rotary Club of Hershey and are eligible for a scholarship.

Victoria Ortiz Guerrero is from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and enrolled at Milton Hershey School as a third grader in 2012. She is a member of the Student Government Association, Mock Trial Team, Hershey Project Pathways, Athlete Student Council, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society. She also is a member of the varsity soccer team and has worked on numerous community service activities, including an MHS Domestic Service Learning Experience in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. After graduating, she plans to pursue a degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.

When asked to share her response to being chosen as Rotary Student of the Month, Victoria said, “I am grateful and would like to thank Milton Hershey School, especially the Senior Division staff, for supporting me throughout my high school career.”

Milton Hershey School Celebrates Rotary Students of the Month

David Godwin enrolled at Milton Hershey School in 2018 as a ninth grader from Uniondale, New York. He is a member of the varsity track and field team, National Technical Honor Society, and National Honor Society. In high school, he interned with MHS Admissions and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. After graduating, he plans to study finance at Villanova University.

David shared, “I would like to thank Rotary for recognizing me for this distinguished honor. I also would like to thank every MHS staff member that had a hand in my development.”
