Milton Hershey School Senior Athletes Take on Their Final Fall Seasons

To kickoff Milton Hershey School’s 2021-22 athletics programming, we interviewed seven seniors representing each fall sport to share their excitement and advice for their final seasons. Hear from each Spartan athlete below.

Maggie Creech, Senior

What are you most excited for this sports season?

I’m most excited about the opportunity to compete with other schools and challenge myself to grow individually as an athlete and as a good human being.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

For other MHS athletes, as my coach would say, “Control the controllable.” No matter the circumstances, remember that you can overcome whatever play, whatever team, or whatever loss you face.

What are you most excited for this sports season?

I’m excited to get back to competing and want to finish my senior year Spartan strong.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

Always play your best and remember to have fun. The entire MHS community is here to support you!

What are you most excited for this sports season?

My teammates are like family to me. I’m excited to build bonds with the new members of my team and grow as a leader.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

My biggest piece of advice would be to play every game like it’s your last. Your time with your teammates and time playing the sport you love goes by faster than you think.

What are you most excited about this sports season?

I’m excited to compete this school year and win some games.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

Take pride in being a Spartan, be patient with underclassmen, stay humble, compete with 100% effort, and be coachable.

What are you most excited for this sports season?

I am excited to participate in one last official, competitive season with my teammates—some of which I’ve been playing with for over six years. I am eager to make memories, challenge myself, and grow as an athlete and person.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

My advice to other athletes would be to play your hearts out and have fun—no matter what the circumstances. Let’s show other schools what it means to be a member of the MHS Spartan Athletics program.

What are you most excited about this sports season?

I’m excited to build relationships with my team and make memories on the course.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

Don’t give up on each other and work hard every day during practice and meets.

I’m excited for our senior night and the opportunity to compete on our home course together.

What advice do you have for other MHS athletes?

Spartan athletes should stay focused on school and their grades. If you do not perform well in school, you cannot compete.
