MHS Student and Staff Recognized for Their Character and Leadership

Milton Hershey School’s Diana Creech and Nadine Krempa recently were presented with Chairman’s Award for Excellence Medallions for their service to the school and its mission. Chairman Robert Heist ’82 presented the medallions during the December Board of Managers meeting. The award recognizes students and staff who demonstrate outstanding achievement with high levels of integrity and moral character.

Diana Creech, an MHS junior, was recognized for her leadership throughout her academic and extracurricular endeavors. In addition to maintaining an excellent grade point average, she participates in high-level coursework, serves as editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, and volunteers as a Four-Ever Connect mentor and Young Women’s Alliance member. Diana has also expanded her global awareness through international travel and gained authentic work experience during an internship with The Hershey Company.

Nadine Krempa, middle school principal at MHS, was honored for her leadership skills and commitment to strengthening the relationship between the Middle Division Scholastic team and parents/sponsors. To provide middle school students with personalized, 21st century learning opportunities, she has collaborated with departments across campus to achieve a one-to-one technology learning environment. Nadine also volunteers to mentor students and ensures student safety by creating and implementing action plans.

Congratulations to Diana and Nadine for this significant recognition.
