MHS Senior Earns Mid-Penn Conference All-Star Status for Cross Country

Milton Hershey School’s cross country teams recently competed in the Mid-Penn Championship at Big Spring High School against A, AA, and AAA Mid-Penn Conference schools.

MHS senior Gary Waters finished 23rd out of 200 runners and earned Mid-Penn Conference All-Star status by placing in the top 35 for his race.

“Being accomplished as an all-star means my progress from sophomore year to now is really showing,” Gary said. “This medal symbolizes my dedication, work, and determination. I am honored to be recognized as a Mid-Penn Conference All-Star.”

Senior Zachariah Miller and sophomore Devohn Page also ran their personal best times during the competition, and six other team members achieved their season’s best times on the Big Spring cross country course.

The MHS cross country teams will compete in the District III Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Big Spring High School beginning at 12:15 p.m. Cheer on the Spartans as they race against local schools!
