Our Future in Focus Decoration Contest Decks Out Milton Hershey School Campus

Milton Hershey School student homes and Transition Living (TL) buildings got creative in decking out their outdoor spaces for the Our Future in Focus decoration contest—as part of the 2020-21 Opening of School festivities.

Instructions for the contest were outlined in the first surprise box delivered on Thursday, Aug. 6, kicking off the celebration. Students were encouraged to combine their creative skills to illustrate the theme through outdoor decorations. Home Life staff judged the decorations and the best-decorated houses in each division will be awarded an ice cream party this fall.

The winners of the decoration contest are:

  • Elementary Division:
    • 1st: Weiser
    • 2nd: Eisenhower
    • 3rd: Logan
  • Middle Division:
    • 1st: Royer
    • 2nd (tied): Cuba and Alexandria
  • Senior Division:
    • 1st: Vista Verde
    • 2nd (tied): Nassau and Trinidad
  • Transitional Living:
    • 1st: Emerson
    • 2nd: Fulton
