MHS Alumna Named to Inc. Magazine’s 30 Under 30 Young Entrepreneurs List

MHS alumna Alexandra Cristin White ’07 recently was selected as one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 Under 30 honorees for 2017. The list honors 30 of the most brilliant business entrepreneurs under the age of 30 from across the country.

Alexandra was recognized for the success of Glam Seamless, a natural hair extensions company she founded when only 23 years old. She has grown the company in sales from $55,000 in 2014 to over $2.5 million in two years.

While Alexandra started the company by working remotely with her team and meeting at coffee shops and co-working spaces, today Glam Seamless has its own offices and a “hair room” in Hoboken, New Jersey.

“In the day of internet and e-commerce, anything is really possible,” said Alexandra. “You don’t need an investor to start, you don’t need a big office, you don’t need anything. You just need the grit, the determination, and passion for whatever you’re doing.”
