Congratulations to the January Middle Division Scholars of the Month

Eighth-grader Sade Dillon and seventh-grader Malakai Henry-Geraghty have been recognized as the January Middle Division Scholars of the Month.

MHS teachers nominate students for this monthly award based on outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, and for embodying the school’s Sacred Values: positive spirit, integrity, mutual respect, and commitment to mission.

Sade is a role model for others both in and out of the classroom. She has a current grade average of 93.81. She is a member of the National Junior Honor Society, serves her fellow students as a Student Government Association representative, is the manager of the boys’ basketball team, acts as an academic leader in Advanced Composition, and plays the drums. Her teachers share that she is an outstanding student and a pleasure to have in class each day.

While only being at Milton Hershey School for a short time, Malakai stands out to his teachers as a model student. He comes to class prepared and ready to engage with the material being presented. He is thoughtful, seeks to understand, makes connections, and is willing to learn more each and every day. Malakai earned a grade average of 96.00 for the second marking period thanks to his high work ethic.

Congratulations Sade and Malakai!
