Construction Continues on The Legacy Campus

Thirty-two new student homes are currently being built on Legacy Campus

Construction on The Legacy Campus expansion remains on schedule with the foundation footing and walls being constructed, installation of under slab utilities, and preparation for pouring the concrete slab on three of the new 32 student homes being built over the next several years. These include student homes Cairo, New York, and Denver. The expected date for these homes to open is Dec. 2017.

The 32 new student homes will provide students a quality home life in a safe and nurturing environment. The expansion is part of President Gurt’s 2020 Vision strategic goal to grow enrollment to 2,300 students in order to provide a life full of possibilities to more students.

The name of each student home, which will house middle school students, will be historically significant. The new expansion will honor and celebrate the individuals and places that played a significant role in the lives of Milton and Catherine Hershey and the development of the school.
