Shining in the Courtroom: Leila Asemani, Intern

Milton Hershey School junior Leila Asemani shines when she’s practicing her mock trial skills in the school’s courtroom classroom, so it’s no surprise that she is spending the summer before her senior year interning with the legal department at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.

“I am gaining an understanding of risk management and the process of how lawsuits work,” Leila said. “I also am gaining the opportunity to network while building meaningful relationships with employees of the company, including executive officers.”Shining in the Courtroom: Leila Asemani, Intern Photo

While at MHS, Leila has received a solid educational background for her internship. She is a top-notch student in the Law, Public Safety & Security program. It is one of 12 career pathways in which students can pick from within the school’s Career Technical Education program. Earlier this year, Leila won the Rotary International Four-Way Test Speech Contest for Pennsylvania and contributed to the success of her school’s mock trial team in the statewide competition.

Leila has aspirations to one day become an attorney. She is focusing on researching pre-law programs.
