MHS is seeking Math and ELA teachers to provide summer instruction to students in the elementary school in a manner consistent with the regular school year: planning lessons, providing engaging classroom instruction with effective classroom management, and conducting assessments.

The 2024 Summer School start date is on July 15th (ending on August 2nd) and pays $35.00/hour. Work hours may vary depending on programming and school needs. Prior to the 7/15/24 start date, all new Summer School Teachers will need to attend training (paid).

Qualifications:

  • College Degree in related field.
  • Successful prior teaching experience.
  • Teaching Certification (first preference to those with certification in content taught).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification, a plus.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.
