Making an Impact with Hands-On Learning

The Education and Human Services program area introduces students to careers in education, social work, counseling, and related fields. They learn professional expectations, degree requirements, and essential skills through classroom simulations, guest speakers, and collaborative experiences with younger students. By senior year, students participate in internships and work-based learning while building empathy, communication, and leadership qualities—earning certifications like the Child Development Associate (CDA) to prepare for their careers.
