How to Talk About MHS
Making the choice to enroll a student at MHS is hard. Some families tell us they don’t know what to say to the important people in their lives. We can help you help them. Download our “How to Talk about MHS” flyer for guardians, or contact our admissions counselors for additional resources.

Grandparents/Guardians are a very important part of the Milton Hershey School community.
Caring Home Life
MHS students live in student homes in a family-like setting. Each student home houses eight to 12 students with a full-time married couple overseeing it. Students thrive in this nurturing home-away-from-home home.
Houseparents teach students life skills that help build character and social and emotional awareness. Together, they carry on our school’s timeless traditions.
Meet Our Team
MHS has a full team of admissions counselors to help grandparents or guardians raising children. This group supports prospective students during the MHS admissions journey. They are assigned based on where a student lives.
