What It Means to Be a Spartan Sponsor

Dealing with Homesickness
There will be times when your child feels homesick and also when you miss your child. Learn how the MHS team supports you both in times of homesickness.
One Caring Adult
During their time at MHS, your child will have a special relationship with a caring adult. This person helps them through life’s ups and downs. It may be you, or a teacher, houseparent, or coach.

Middle Division Scholastic Support
Learn how to help your middle school-age child through their academic growth. Keep track of their progress through the Parent Portal and communicate with their teachers.
Middle Division Home Life
Your child’s home life while at MHS will help nurture and educate them, while building independence and character. All of that leads to life-long success.
Middle Division Student Health Services
The health services team at MHS helps your child get connected to medical, dental, social work, and psychological and behavioral support. We also offer nutrition services.
Supporting Your Child's Academic Success
You play an important role in your child’s academic success at MHS. Get important tips on how to show your child support and encouragement along each step of the way.
Learning happens all year round, not just in the classroom during the school year. The YRE program lets your child explore learning activities during holiday and summer breaks.
Graduate Programs for Success (GPS)
Our GPS team helps Senior Division students navigate their path from MHS to college or the workforce. The plans are based on your child’s unique talents and interests. GPS support continues even after graduation.
Continuing Education Scholarship (CES)
Your child has the chance to build up scholarship funds for college while they are at MHS. The funds are given based on grades and behavior during 9th through 12th grade.
