The variety of full- and part-time jobs we have at MHS may surprise you. As a year-round school where students live and learn on campus, we employ roles from teachers and bus drivers to health care professionals and maintenance workers.

At Milton Hershey School, our teachers are more than educators—they are leaders, mentors, and positive role models investing in the lives of MHS students in the classroom and beyond. They are passionate about making a difference in the lives of low-income students and committed to every child’s success. Our teachers deliver academic excellence and create unique learning experiences in three divisions:

  • Elementary Division (Pre-K to 4th Grade)
  • Middle Division (5th to 8th Grade)
  • Senior Division (9th to 12th Grade)

Health Care at MHS

As a home and school, Milton Hershey School provides comprehensive care for our students with medical, dental, and psychological clinics in each division. This care is made possible by dedicated nurses, certified nursing assistants, dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, psychologists, behavioral support specialists, and office support personnel. Both full- and part-time staff provide wraparound wellness care for our students—with all costs covered.

Administration, Operations, and Trades

We hire professionals for roles in finance, human resources, legal, communications, information technology, and more. MHS also employs a myriad of trades and other professionals who keep our campus functioning, including:

  • Building and vehicle maintenance workers
