Hershey Sprint Car Experience 2025
Milton Hershey School, World of Outlaws, and Hersheypark welcomed back 26 professional dirt track drivers to Hersheypark Stadium on Thursday, May 8 for the third annual Hershey Sprint Car Experience. Attendees had the opportunity to sit in cars, talk to drivers about their profession, and learn about racing. This free community event saw close to 4,500 attendees—our biggest year yet!

Celebrating 88 Years of Hershey Motorists
The Hershey Sprint Car Experience celebrates modern-day racing while paying tribute to those who raced at Hershey Stadium Speedway 88 years ago. You read that right—Milton S. Hershey built Hersheypark Stadium in 1937 to be a speedway!

Few rivalries shine as brightly as the clash between the World of Outlaws and PA Posse. As the Outlaws blazed their trail, they quickly discovered that some of their fiercest adversaries awaited them in the Keystone State.
The atmosphere in Central Pennsylvania when the Outlaws roll into town is electric. Fans from all corners of the region rally behind their local favorites, fervently hoping to see them triumph over the invading Outlaws. Their epic battles have solidified their rivalry as a cornerstone of sprint car racing.

What We Do
Milton Hershey School is a private school where qualifying students in pre-K through 12th grade live on campus in Hershey, PA. MHS encourages students to discover their passions through countless opportunities like our World of Outlaws partnership. All costs are covered, thanks to the trust left by founders Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909.

Central Pennsylvania Roots
Our region welcomes visitors from across the country and the world. Among the area’s many treasures is MHS, a school that has provided students with the tools to build successful futures from the start.
Central PA also is home to iconic dirt track Williams Grove Speedway and other raceways. They regularly draw in top competitors, such as World of Outlaws series drivers, to face off against the famed Pennsylvania Posse. During a recent trip to town, the Outlaws visited MHS students on campus for fun and hands-on learning.
Local Connection to the School
MHS is built on meaningful personal connections between staff, students, and community members. Growing up near Hershey, Brock Zearfoss, a local sprint car driver, is excited to share the MHS mission with families across the country.

A Tradition of Hands-On Learning
Our founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey, created the school to provide children an education for life. Mr. Hershey looked back on his own life and early trade experience as a foundation for the school’s vocational training, now known as the Career and Technical Education program. Whether choosing college or a trade, all MHS students have the opportunity to accrue up to $115,000 in scholarships to support what comes next.

“Not only was this my first time going to a live racing event, but also, I got to be an honorary member of a World of Outlaw’s racing team. This was an amazing introduction to the world of racing. I loved working with the team getting to know a local driver from Central Pennsylvania, Brock Zearfoss, and his crew. Getting to work in the pits with crews was an in depth learning experience. This was a place to network and see possible future careers in racing. Experiences like this aren’t offered to every student. This opportunity was made possible by Milton Hershey School.”
