Our Beginning

Milton and Catherine Hershey had no idea that the home and school they started in 1909 would one day serve thousands of students and graduates. Their legacy is the beginning of our story. As we enter into another school year at MHS, we are reminded of the Hersheys’ vision and all that is left to accomplish on the road ahead.

Milton Hershey School does not discriminate in admissions or other programs and services on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, sex, religious creed or disability. Read important MHS policies on equal opportunity and diversity, equal employment opportunity, and more.
