Senior Awards Recipients

On Sunday, June 2, MHS recognized members of the Class of 2024 for their achievements inside and outside the classroom. The entire MHS community celebrates these students and their accomplishments.

MHS Lifers: Conquering Breakthroughs

MHS celebrates a special group of graduates each year called “lifers.” Lifers are students who begin at MHS in first grade, or earlier, and remain enrolled through graduation. There are 18 lifers in the Class of 2024.

2024 MHS Alumnus of the Year

MHS named Douglas I. Oliver ’93 as the 2024 Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his accomplishments in communications, business, and advocacy. Oliver currently serves as senior vice president of governmental, regulatory, and external affairs at PECO, Pennsylvania’s largest electric and natural gas utility. This role combines his leadership experience and philanthropic vision.

Along with celebrating the graduating class, this time period also marks a transition for our younger students. On Friday, June 7, MHS held Promotion Ceremonies for our fourth and eighth grade students who are moving on to their next scholastic division at MHS.
