Milton Hershey School will recognize the Class of 2024 on Sunday, June 9 with a special Commencement Ceremony. We look forward to celebrating our seniors and acknowledging this milestone achievement. Read more about our soon-to-be graduates and their remarkable journeys.

Commencement Ceremony

The MHS Commencement Ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 9 at 10 a.m. Watch the ceremony below and celebrate the Class of 2024. The ceremony includes:

  • Personal recognition of each senior

  • A senior class video packed with memorable moments

Senior Chapel and Awards Ceremony

To kick off end-of-year celebrations, the MHS Class of 2024 will gather on Sunday, June 2 for a Senior Chapel Service and Awards Ceremony in Founders Hall. The program includes:

  • Senior speeches
  • Student readings
  • Musical performances

MHS Lifers: Conquering Breakthroughs

MHS celebrates a special group of graduates each year called “lifers.” Lifers are students who begin at MHS in first grade, or earlier, and remain enrolled through graduation. There are 18 lifers in the Class of 2024.

Finding Your Creative Talents

MHS senior Ember Simmons blended both of her passions when she interned at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and created a painting for the Opening of School Assembly.

Doug Oliver '93 is the 2024 MHS Alumnus of the Year.

2024 MHS Alumnus of the Year 

MHS named Douglas I. Oliver ’93 as the 2024 Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his accomplishments in communications, business, and advocacy. Oliver currently serves as senior vice president of governmental, regulatory, and external affairs at PECO, Pennsylvania’s largest electric and natural gas utility. This role combines his leadership experience and philanthropic vision.

Along with celebrating the graduating class, this time period also marks a transition for our younger students. On Friday, June 7, MHS will hold Promotion Ceremonies for our fourth- and eighth-grade students who are moving on to their next scholastic division at MHS.
