Vice President of Communications and Marketing

Kristina Pae is vice president of communications and marketing for Milton Hershey School. In her role, Pae and her team are responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives, overseeing engagement for both internal and external stakeholders, and directing marketing efforts to drive student recruitment and human resources hiring. She also manages the Office of Alumni Relations and the Department of School History, ensuring alignment on consistent branding, strategic goals, and objectives. 

Pae has played a critical role in the 72% increase in the 2022-23 student applications and has been an influential part of the School’s growth and development through targeted media campaigns and collaborative marketing efforts. Pae and her team have been recognized by the Communicator Awards, PRSA Central PA Chapter, The American Advertising Federation of NE Pennsylvania, and CASE Circle of Excellence for marketing and public relations campaigns in recruitment, website redesign, and branding programs.

Previous Experience 

Before MHS, Kristina Pae was director of communications and marketing and acting director of admissions and financial aid at Harrisburg Academy, a top private school in Central Pennsylvania. She previously worked as a marketing specialist at Momentum, Inc., and as director of marketing at Dataforma, Inc. Her efforts positioned the firm to win 12 industry awards in 2008.

Pae is an active member of her community, serving as vice chair of the Board for the Pennsylvania-South Jersey-Delaware Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and is a 16-year team captain for WalkMS, leading fundraisers and recruiting new walkers for the cause.
