Live Stream Event: 2017 Commencement

The Class of 2017 will be receiving their diplomas at our Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, June 11 at 10 a.m.

The ceremonial event will honor nearly 200 students of the Class of 2017 who will receive diplomas.

“I am incredibly proud of the many accomplishments of the Class of 2017,” said MHS President Pete Gurt ’85. “Our staff works diligently to prepare all our graduates for the next step in their journey. I am confident that they will leave MHS with a solid academic foundation and the necessary skills to lead fulfilling and productive lives.”

Commencement exercises and related graduation activities will be held for seniors, their guests, staff and the public as follows:

  • Saturday, June 10: Senior Class Chapel and Ring Ceremony, 2 p.m. (Chapel begins with ring ceremony immediately following), Founders Hall Auditorium. View a live stream of the event.
  • Sunday, June 11: Commencement, 10 a.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.), Giant Center. (Guests must enter Giant Center with a ticket.)

Seniors Jesper Andersson and Alondra Isidro will address the Class of 2017 during the commencement ceremony with President Gurt and MHS Alumnus of the Year Eric Welsh ’84 also providing remarks.
