MHS News

Congratulations to the April/May Middle Division Scholars of the Month

Megan Forthofer and Taris Wilkerson are the Catherine Hall Scholars of the Month for April/May.

Seventh-graders Megan Forthofer and Taris Wilkerson have been recognized as the April/May Catherine Hall Scholars of the Month.

MHS teachers nominate students for this monthly award based on outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, and for embodying the school’s Sacred Values: positive spirit, integrity, mutual respect and commitment to mission.

Megan comes to class prepared, organized, and with a positive attitude. She goes beyond what is expected of her each day and leads by example by embodying Milton Hershey School’s Sacred Values. Her kindness, willingness to assist others in need, and strong work ethic has helped her earn respect from adults and peers. Megan has earned both Honor Roll and Effort and Conduct Honor Roll all three marking periods. She is a member of the wind ensemble, jazz band, and a mentor to fifth-grade jazz band members.

Taris displays excellent work ethic, effort, and conduct in and outside the classroom.  He has achieved Distinguished Honor Roll all three marking periods this year, as well as Effort and Conduct. A member of the basketball and track teams, Taris goes beyond what is asked of him. His determination, character, and integrity has earned him respect amongst his peers and teacher.

Please congratulate Megan and Taris when you see them on campus!
