MHS Students Participate in Lebanon Area Fair
In July 2019, Milton Hershey School students participated in the Lebanon Area Fair, presenting their hard work to the public. MHS students have the opportunity to work hands-on with the school’s farmland and animals through the Agricultural and Environmental Education program.
Rising sophomore and junior Anthony and Gregory Gulli earned third and fourth place respectively with their junior yearling heifers. Rising junior Kenneth Casey earned first place with his two year old heifer, and rising senior Amelia Usner earned sixth place with her open market steer.
“The teamwork that the students exhibited this year was incredible. Four of our students participated in the show, working together as they went,” shared Jennifer Wise, Instructional Advisor at the MHS Animal Center. “It meant a lot to the students when MHS employees and their families came to watch them.”
Congratulations to these students and keep up the great work!
