MHS is seeking a Vice-President (VP) of Strategy. This role reports directly to the President of MHS and is responsible for collaborating with school leadership to design and implement the strategic planning process for MHS which includes facilitating the development of plans and tracking goals and initiatives. This VP will work within a highly complex landscape including continuous improvement initiatives and will direct research and evaluation activities to inform the decisions leading to improvements of programs, policies, services, and operations to optimize student success and overall MHS mission, The role will also be integral to strategies related to legal, financial, and political risks.
Also, the VP of Strategy, through a shared service agreement, will play a pivotal role in developing and designing strategy, programs, policies, and operations to optimize student success and expansion of Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS). The VP of Strategy will also be a member of the Mission and Strategy Team, MHS and CHS Policy Committees, and CHS and MHS Capital Review Committees.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, educational administration, or an affiliated field. Master’s degree preferred.

10 or more years’ experience in developing organizational strategies, with a demonstrated ability to ability to develop and implement data informed strategic initiatives.

Demonstrated leadership experience required, including successfully working with senior leadership across multiple organizations and at the board level.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic plans that effectively glean results for key organizational goals.

Demonstrated skills in inspiring, developing, and leading others.

Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively cast vision, influence, negotiate, and collaborate.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and a high degree of discernment.

Exceptional executive level organizational capabilities and knowledge including fiduciary oversight.

Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are considered role models to students.
