Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a tuition-free private home and school for 2,200 pre-K through 12th grade students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since its’ founding, the lives of almost 12,000 children have had lives transformed through high-quality career-focused education and a positive, nurturing home life. And the school is growing to serve more students. 

MHS is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Data and Analytics.  This role works collaboratively with all MHS departments as well as Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS) to develop strategic data analytics, insights reports, and dashboards to support MHS and CHS’s decision-making to achieve strategic goals.  The Senior Manager also plays an integral role in Enterprise Resource Planning and works closely with the IT Department and the Director of Business Systems to develop effective solutions and improve processes and reporting.  Further, this role assists the Financial Reporting team to build efficiencies, automate, and enhance reporting.      

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Data Analytics, or closely related field.  MBA a plus. 
  • Five or more years in a similar role – developing value-add data analytics and financial reporting, as well as influencing change. 
  • Highly skilled in the use of the Microsoft Suite as well as data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).  Functional knowledge of integrated ERP Systems desired.  
  • High degree of initiative and able to work effectively independently, as well as work effectively with all levels of management.  
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and platform.  
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.  
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students.  
  • Candidates should be interested in actively engaging with students to enrich their experience at MHS.
