Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a tuition free, home, and private school for over 2,000 Pre-K through 12th grade students.  Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the lives of more than 11,000 students have been positively transformed through MHS’s high-quality career-focused education, nurturing home life, and extensive extra-curricular opportunities.   Gaudenzia Addiction Treatment & Recovery Services agency is currently seeking a Contracted Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor to be assigned to Milton Hershey School (MHS) to provide drug and alcohol, education, prevention, and treatment services for students on our campus. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, and policies and procedures determined by Gaudenzia Addiction Treatment & Recovery Services agency.   Work schedule is currently 2.5 days per week from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. It is possible that the hours could expand to full-time in the future. Competitive pay rate depending on the experience. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Current license or certification (CAC, CAADC)
  • Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience or 1 year of clinical experience if a master’s degree.
  • Computer skills, experience working with Microsoft applications. 
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of children and adults.
  • High degree of integrity required.
