MHS is currently seeking Campus Safety Event Workers to assist as needed with the safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and / or vehicles related to special events that involve the MHS Campus Safety Department. Campus Safety Event Workers will be trained to assist during critical incidents ranging from medical calls to venue evacuation. Some of the responsibilities are:
• Directing motor vehicles and pedestrians to predetermined locations.• Monitor events for life safety matters that need to be reported to Campus Safety.• Respond and provide support during a critical incident.• Assist with set up and break down of traffic control devices.
This is an ancillary, seasonal, as needed role with an hourly pay rate: $21.00.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.• Current PA Driver's License in good standing.• Valid Fire Police Certification or ability to obtain upon hire within six months.• Crowd Management training or ability to obtain upon hire within six months.• First Aid/CPR/AED certification. • Ability to work evenings, weekends and must be able to work outdoors in the elements. • Ability to clearly communicate direction to both individuals and crowds of people.• Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills.• Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.
