MHS is currently seeking an Accreditation Manager/Specialist to join the Campus Safety Team. Currently, MHS holds dual CALEA accreditations, Campus Safety Officer, and Central Monitoring Dispatcher. The mission of the Campus Safety Department is to provide MHS students and staff with a safe and secure environment in which to learn, live, work, and grow. We will accomplish our mission by partnering and collaborating with our community and visitors by providing professional safety and security services, and by affording dignity and respect to all individuals.

This position is responsible for performing analytical and administrative work related to the CALEA accreditation tasks to assure an efficient workflow of proofs of compliance throughout the agency. This professional works independently, makes appropriate assignments, and creates deadlines throughout the agency. Performance in this job is measured through reports, analyses, methodology, and levels of successfully accomplishing the accreditation goals of the department.  Hourly pay rate: $26.19 to $34.97, pay is determined based on experience. Full-time employees receive generous health & insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, etc.). Position will close for applications on 11/30/2023.

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree required.•    At least 1 year of experience in accreditation management, preferred. •    Certified as a CALEA Accreditation Manager or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire. •    Valid PA driver’s license in good standing. •    Knowledge of the principles and practices of modern public safety agency operations & administration preferred.•    Proficient utilizing MOS applications, Office 365, and other related systems. •    Proficient in the use of analytical software including Excel.  Experience with PowerDMS preferred.  •    Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.•    Ability to train, influence and work with a diverse group of professionals. •    Ability to work independently.•    Demonstrated success in multi-tasking complex projects with a high degree of accuracy & efficiency. •    Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex information, collaborate, and influence. •    Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students. •    Candidates should be open to actively engaging with students through various School programs & activities.
