Susan enrolled at MHS in 1977 as a 7th-grade student and participated in a number of activities including chorus, track and field, cheerleading, peer counseling, and student government association.
She attributes her success after graduation to the top-notch education and nurturing care she received at MHS. Susan has owned a hair salon in Seaville for the past 17 years.
“I am a successful business owner, mother and mentor with a beautiful life. Milton Hershey taught me to work hard and never give up. I would not be who I am today had I not attended Milton Hershey School,” Susan said.
Susan now spends her time as a proud “Milt,” spreading the message of what the school did for her life and how it can help the lives of others in the Cape May area.
“I feel so passionate about MHS. At least 10 times a week I am talking to someone about the school and how it has saved my life,” said Susan.
