What types of job opportunities exist at MHS?

Milton Hershey School is a year-round home and school for low-income students. In addition to teachers and residential staff, following are examples of other types of job opportunities:

Operational Staff

  • Cooks, dining room workers, drivers, health care workers, dental care providers, hair stylists and barbers, seamstresses and tailors, custodians, safety and security officers, and more.

Student Prepairing Lunch

Administrative Staff

  • Finance, HR, IT, Communications, and leadership roles.

Coaching and Extracurriculars

  • Staff oversee a variety of athletic, visual arts, performing arts, agricultural, and other recreational and extra-curricular outlets. Driving instructors also are hired.

Trades

  • Construction, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance, grounds-keeping and other services are needed to ensure a quality campus life is maintained.
